#2 - What's this then Min?

As to updating? How often would you like to see it updated? The clue is a taxonomy is a controlled vocabulary. Changing it regularly would defeat the object. Don't like where something is classified - well, you can't please everyone all the time and you should be able to tag it to more than one place in the taxonomy - or add additional "folksonomy" tags - IPSV gives a standard - it is mandatory (as per the COI) on all govt. websites. I know - I build them.

To win a prize for merging for creating a vocabulary - the IPSV - that no one in the UK public sector uses, or ever used, or has heard of, hasn't been updated for 4 years (http://doc.esd.org.uk/IPSV/2.00.html) , which classifies bonfires under Health and Safety at Work (Borges where are you now?), and which isn't used by the Government's main website (http://www.direct.gov.uk) - a truly awesome achievement!
